Dr. D. Maneesh Kumar, D.O., Ph.D., FAAP, is a physician, scientist, and educator committed to advancing the health and well-being of children. With a profound passion for pediatric care, Dr. Kumar combines his medical training and scientific insight to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to his young patients.
Dr. Kumar earned both his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, supported by the National Institutes of Health – Medical Scientist Training Program. During his studies, he developed a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the body’s systems. His pediatric residency at UTHealth Houston – McGovern Medical School further refined his skills in treating a broad spectrum of pediatric conditions.
As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. Kumar is distinguished for his excellence in pediatric healthcare.
